#IsolationPubSession May 2021 - Planxty Fanny Power

The brilliant folks at the Isolation Pub Session have done it again ... this is one of my favourite ones we've done for ages. Not only does it feature our regulars - but also some brilliant people joining for the first time from New Zealand and Canada!

I began playing these tunes on my own last Sunday - and within a week - it has become this glorious noise.

This week we begin with a tune I've just found called Saltash - it's a really simple and addictive tune ... and it is put together in a set with William Irwin's Modal Hornpipe (sometimes known as Barbara Allen) ... and then we'll go on to play the Turlough O'Carolan tune Planxty Fanny Power (which seems to set YouTube's dreadful copyright algorithm off more than any tune I've tried so far!)
