#IsolationPubSession - April 2021 - Packed again to welcome in the May

Here you go! I started these tunes off last Sunday on my own ... and although I got a little worried that nobody had sent in a video of them playing along until Tuesday (I since figured the nice weather might have had something to do with it!) ... I needn't have worried ... everyone rallied round and I hope you'll agree it sounds bloomin' marvellous!

The tunes this week are Lemmie Brazil's number 2 and William Taylor's Tabletop Hornpipe (which I forgot to mention in the video was written by the brilliant Dave Shepherd) followed by my tune, Garlands which I wrote to celebrate the start of summer on May Day.

It's at these sort of times of year when tradition would mean that we all get together and celebrate with music, dance and song that I really notice the effect of lockdown. Hopefully we will all be able to congregate safely for next year's celebrations. In the meantime ... I hope these sessions fill some of the gap everyone's feeling.
