NBN Co seeking innovation to rapidly upgrade network
The government-owned NBN Co is now rapidly upgrading its network in line with consumer demand.
The company is also seeking innovative solutions to get its network back up and running after natural disasters, which includes collaboration with small Australian manufacturers.
After extreme damaging weather events such as storms, bushfires and floods, it is crucial to restore public utilities as quickly as possible.
NBN Co has been deploying hybrid trucks to undertake maintenance of the NBN network.
It is all one step towards NBN Co’s aim to have a fully electric or hybrid fleet by 2030.
