This is the Tamron SP 35mm f/1 8 Di VC USD Lens 4K Video Test. Third party lens manufacturers have been around for quite a bit. And they do have their market share. Because they are more affordable than the Canon and Nikon. Before that, we always think other manufacturers such as Sigma, Tokina and Tamron are not as good as the Canon or Nikon ones. We buy it because its one third of the price. But these days, all other companies not just focus on lower price. They made a lot of high quality glasses now and some users think its even better than the original brands. Sigma was a good example. They invented the Art Series few years ago and they have changed way of people looking at third party lens. I have seen a lot of professional users switched to Sigma too.

So how about the new Tamron SP 35mm? The Tamron SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD prime is a new full frame lens from 2015. And this is one of the Tamron lens which comes with build in image Stabilization. Which is good for DSLR users. This lens achieves superb image. Also it performs really good in video too. The build quality is nice. And the manual focus ring is very smooth.
