Haivoron railway 2003

Scenes on the narrow gauge system centred on Haivoron, on Thursday and Friday 19 and 20 June 2003. This line opened in 1899 and originally ran 195km, extending east to Olviopol, and formed part of a network over 600km long. By 2003 only the 77km Rudnytsya - Haivoron and 54km Haivoron - Holovanivs'k sections remained. I believe both are still open at present, but the Holovanivs'k line, in particular, is under threat of closure
