Brief Political History of Chile

This video explores the basics of Chilean history and politics to explain how Chile became one of the most stable democracies in South America alone, only to collapse under Pinochet in the 1970s and make a protracted return in 1990. The video also considers the country's current challenges and how it is trying to overcome the legacy of Pinochet. It covers Chile from O'Higgins to Piñera.
