How To FIND The Tennis Forehand Contact Point
How To FIND The Tennis Forehand Contact Point
Make sure you know the differences between the medium, low, and high contact points. You should be doing your best to play most of your shots at the medium height!
Drop hits- place the ball in front of yourself and play your shot balanced. Work on playing all 3 different contact points.
The cylinder of balance- pretend you can play inside your imaginary circle or cylinder to play shots with the best balance possible and not hitting outside of your contact points.
Use of the non-dominant hand- this will allow you to stay more balanced while hitting your shots and help you find the optimal spacing from the ball before hitting and finding your contact points.
Rallying/Practicing- now that you are ready to play all your contact points, rally and put all your skills to work!
