Easy 3-4 Watt Audio amplifier with a 741 Chip and a 2N3055 & MJE2955 on 34 Volt
Easy to make 3-4 Watt audio amplifier, made with “classical” components, the 741 Chip and the 2N3055 (Silicon NPN power transistor) and the “2955” (Silicon PNP power transistor).
Working on 34 Volt at 100-200 mA. The circuit was thoroughly tested and as far as I can conclude after a 3 hour overvoltage and over-signal test there will be no thermal runaway when you use (big) “endless” heatsinks (more information in the video).
The TL071 Chip is a pin-to-pin replacement for the 741 Chip in this application, but their sound character/reproduction differs. The TL 071 sounds more cool and clear, the 741 sound more “rich”.

My books about electronics are available via the website from “Lulu”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

There is an important video via which you can buy a document where I give links to many of my video’s, published between 2010 and 2018.

My books are also available via Barnes and Noble and via Amazon.
Regarding all my video’s: I constantly keep them actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. That is the source, and search there. When my video’s are reproduced or re-edited on other websites/channels you can not (!) be sure about the original content (=really working electronics) and important adaptations to the circuits.
Be aware of that, I saw on the internet many of my circuits reproduced in a poor or even not proper way. I can not help that, sorry. Upload 14 march 2019.
Relevant book ""Schematics 2, audio amplifiers and loudspeaker boxes", available on the website of LULU. Search for "Ko Tilman" there (author). Much more info there about how to make pleasant sounding audio amplifiers.
