Charles Humanity

Eine Anklage für mehr Menschlichkeit in einer Zeit, in der Rassismus an vielen Orten in der Welt wütet. Humanity ist und war ein Statement der Band von Charles Petersohn, den hybriden Live-Sound aus Funk, Jazz, World Music und Hip Hop auch im Studio in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen. Mit dem Song Humanity setzte Charles Petersohn vor fast 30 Jahren auf dem zweiten Album der bei JARO gesignten Band "aspects" ein starkes Zeichen. Jetzt, 29 Jahre später scheint dieser Sound, diese Botschaft so aktuell und nötig wie damals. My Manity, Your Manity, Our Manity, Humanity!
Der Krieg ist nach Europa zurückgekehrt und alle sprechen nur noch über Panzer und Waffen. Die Bereitschaft sich für den Frieden einzusetzen scheint nicht allzu groß - auf beiden Seiten.

With the song Humanity, Charles Petersohn made a strong statement almost 30 years ago on the second album of the JARO-signed band aspects. A charge for more humanity at a time when racism was raging in many places around the world. Humanity was a statement of the band to put the hybrid live sound of funk, jazz, world music and hip hop also in the studio in the centre. Now, 29 years later, this sound, this message seems as relevant and necessary as ever. My Manity, Your Manity, Our Manity, Humanity!
War has returned to Europe and everyone is talking about tanks and weapons. The willingness to stand up for peace doesn't seem too great - on both sides.
