Erik Satie - Gymnopédie No.1

Alfred Eric Leslie Satie (Honfleur, 17 May 1866 -- Paris, 1 July 1925) and fellow Dadaist's like "Man Ray", felt that music & art could take many forms other then the dominating nature of Mozart or Beethoven. Like a desk or chair in a room it complementing the character, rathen then setting it. Satie coined his music "furniture music", leading the way to modern movie, minimalistic and even Jazz music.

Johannes Cernota (Pianist & Artist, 16th March 1955, Niedersachsen), goes even further: "That one time we played for punks in Bremen, it didnt matter who they where, i just took them on a trip to Satie without even touching them. "
