IP camera configuration RU Series: How to connect to NVR.

As demonstrated at the conclusion of the video, the NVR's internal switch is configured with the IP address 192.168.254.1. This address will serve as the gateway for the IP cameras. Consequently, each IP camera must be assigned an address within the 192.168.254.Y subnet, where Y represents a unique octet ranging from 2 to 254. This address must be unique across the network and cannot be shared by multiple devices. For instance, if one camera is assigned 192.168.254.5, another camera must be assigned a different value for Y, such as 192.168.254.6. It is also important to note that the value 1 is reserved for the gateway and must not be assigned to any camera.

2. How to find the internal switch IP address. This address will be used as the camera’s gateway, and the camera's IP address must be within this range.

· For example: If your PoE NVR’s internal switch IP is 192.168.254.1, then your IP camera’s IP address should be set to 192.168.254.Y (where Y is an available number between 2 and 253). Make sure this number is not already used by another camera or device, as this will cause an IP conflict
