SIGNS OF WAR: Canadian and British Road Signs in Northwest Europe 1944-45

When Kenneth McKenzie finished his combat service with the Calgary Highlanders in 1945, he traveled down the Lines of Communication of the 21st Army Group with his camera. His photos were discovered in the regimental archives in 2008 and turned into a book. Presented here is a brief overview of the "signs of war" visible in Northwest Europe in 1944-45, including many of the photos from McKenzie’s personal photo album.
