What are some of the current ethical implications of artificial intelligence, and why should the average person care? The applications and associated concerns may surprise and even concern you. This talk will unveil the underlying factors and provide insight into why this is a concern for everyone. Shawn Pullum is the Chief Counsel for the Pullum Law Firm. He is a legal generalist and an Intellectual Property law specialist. His practice areas include Business Formation, Contract Development and Review, Cybersecurity, Civil Litigation, Data Privacy, Family Law, Wills,
Estates, and Trusts, as well as all areas of Intellectual Property Prosecution and Litigation. Mr. Pullum's other Intellectual Property Law practice areas include Trademarks, Copyrights, Sports Law, and Entertainment Law. He worked in the technical and business sides of Corporate America for over 27 years. He received his master’s in management with a specialization in Project Management from CTU Online. His undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a Scientific option is from Southern University Baton Rouge. Mr. Pullum worked as a Systems Engineer for AT&T Big Data, an instructor for University of Phoenix, and began his technical career as a Software Engineer for IBM Storage Systems.
