Pictures in Motion Newsreel #2 (April 2021)

Earlier, Covert 19 impacted our Pictures in Motions activities, but now the restrictions are relieved.

This includes our Classics of the Silver Screen, where popular movies from the golden era of cinema, can be enjoyed.

The venue is the heritage listed, Art Deco Cygnet Theatre, which has been managed by the Stiles family since the cinema was built in 1938.

The live organ music is provided by John Fuhrmann, where the film program is orchestrated by cinema veteran Roy Mudge, supported by ushers Graham Lacey, and Gerry Voutsinas with his son.

Raffle sales are managed by Anne Fuhrmann whilst box office sales are managed by Val Cope.

On Monday 22nd March, we were most pleased to resume the screenings at the new time of 12:00 noon.

This newsreel briefly outlines the classic films being shown during 2021.
