Starving? Here’s how to say 'I’m hungry' in Italian
'Ho fame', literally: I have hunger, is the easiest way but it can be boring. Here are some more expressive alternatives:

Non ci vedo più dalla fame (I can’t see anymore because of hunger)
Sto morendo di fame (I’m starving) Literally: I’m dying of hunger
Ho una fame da lupo (I am hungry like a wolf)
Ho un buco allo stomaco (I have a hole in my stomach)

Attenzione! NEVER say 'ho fame' to an Italian 'nonna' (grandmother) or 'sarai riempito fino a scoppiare', literally: you’ll be so full you’ll explode!
