Navigate to the Support and Downloads section in the top right of the page, then scroll down to ARQ and select it. You will see the newest firmware download available in the SOFTWARE section of the page. Click the link to download the zip file.
Once complete, you can then extract the zip file’s contents and open the subfolder to see the file labeled AR96SYSTEM.BIN. Copy this file onto the root folder of your SD card. Next, safely eject the SD card from your computer and place it into the SD card slot on the ARQ.
With the ARQ off, press and hold the menu button while pressing the power button. This will copen the update confirmation screen. Select yes to start the update. After the update completes, hold the power button to turn off the base station. Do not remove the SD card or power off the ARQ until after the update is complete.
After the base station update is finished, you will need to update your ARQ ring controller. To do this, turn the base station on, and the ring controller off.
Press and hold the Play/Pause button on the ring while pressing the power button. You will see a single pad light purple on the ring.
You can access the ring update page by pressing menu and going to controller, then selecting Device List. Select the AR96 from the list then choose Yes on the update screen to execute the update.
The charge button will color green after a successful update to the ring. Restart the ring controller by pressing the power button to finish your firmware update.
