‘Should be in cuffs’: Vandalisation of military war memorials slammed by former soldier
LNP MP and former soldier Phillip Thompson Oam says the vandalisation of Australian war memorials in Canberra should see police investigations bolstered to put the vandals in “cuffs”.
“These scumbags should be in cuffs; I think it is that simple; the police need to bolster their numbers and the investigation for this to take place,” he said.
“This is criminal behaviour and should not be accepted.”
