cost of living in madrid, spain in 2021- is 1000 euros enough to live off in madrid, spain?

Hey guys! I remember before I moved to Madrid, I was FREAKING OUT that I was not going to be able to live off of the auxiliar de conversación salary. I would have loved to see a video like this to really put into perspective how much everything costs in Madrid.

Coming from the United States, we really do not have a good idea of how much life costs in other parts of the world. Unfortunately, this causes us to overpay for things like rent, especially when we are so stressed looking for a place to live when we first arrive. So I don't want you to do that!!!
