Trader Joes Haul + Golden Retriever Neutering Fiasco + Post Surgery Update + Backyard Update

This week we got Benji neutered, showed you a trader joes haul, fought with Matt over coffee then subsequently ordered too much Starbucks, saw a behind the scenes of my girl scout cookie video, got another post-surgery update and I am probably missing something.

This week was non stop, and it did not end very well for Benji. Waiting to neuter large dog breeds is common, especially when they're breeds that have joint issues like golden retrievers and labs. I think a lot of vets recommend that you wait between 1-2 years old to have the surgery. Benji is just slightly past that 2 year old threshold, which means his recovery is going to be rough. What we didn't realize is how ROUGH. He is currently suffering from a scrotal hematoma and he has an infection, so I will give you more of those updates in the next vlog.

Matt and I also are on a budget right now, because we're replacing the foundation of our house, so the Starbucks trips were SUPPOSED to be few and far between but I am bad at following rules. I did squeeze in a quick Trader Joes haul too, so it's not all grim and bicker-y! lol. I HATE going to Trader Joe's because the traffic is so nuts in Beverly Hills/Mid City so when I do go I stock up on all of the Trader Joe essentials. I even picked up another one of my dips...this time it wasn't expire. OG subscribers will know.
