Well, it's not technically my first time trying vegan food, but it is definitely my first time trying vegan hot dogs and vegan comfort food. Earle’s on Crenshaw has quite the impressive reputation in Los Angeles. The reviews online are next level amazing. So, being the food explorer that I am, I thought it would be perfect to not only try their vegan hot dogs with you for the first time, but I also wanted to give back to their small business. I go IN on their beyond burger and their beyond meat links and the vegan lemon cake and the vegan cookie dough cheesecake will stir up some tears.
Like a LOT of restaurants during this time, Earle’s on Crenshaw had to pivot to adapt to the challenging climate. One of the things that make them SO special is that they also decided to step up to help feed and serve the underserved in our community. They started a go fund me to raise money to feed the elderly and immunocompromised people who couldn't safely leave their homes. Once Quickbooks heard this, they wanted to partner with me to help give Earle’s on Crenshaw a massive donation to go towards their food delivery mission.
