Pure Malaysian DH Trail | Bukit DinDing

We packed the bikes on the back of the truck and headed off to the main city, where just outside lies Bukit Dinding. A local downhill track where riders were gathered and practicing for the upcoming race which was only a couple of weeks away.

Apparently we were scheduled to catch a shuttle to the top of the hill but hey, we like to take the hard way so we jumped on our biked and climbed that hill to the start of what was a really fun trail.

It wasn't a long trail but it had everything a good trail need in the short distance from top to bottom.

A complete loop was only 5.7km and if you were to just ride the decent it would only be around 1.5km long. Don't let that steer you away though, this trail has got some real fun sections and a really fast straight at the half way mark which riders clock between 65 & 80km/h on & the bottom 3rd of the trail gets nice and steep with some really fun and gnarly rock gardens.

I managed to do 2 runs on the trail that day because I was lucky enough to have been offered the last & only spot left on a shuttle to the top by one of the other riders. The second run is what you see in the video footage.
