No Shofar Blown Tonight In Israel

Most likely the Feast of Trumpets begins tonight. The weather report shows clear skies so there should not be an issue in sighting the moon. So the Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah May be declared tonight but there will be no shofar blown in Israel. I’m going to share a clip of a Rabbi explaining why.

Before I share that I’d like say this......
I know many are expecting the shofar blast associated with Rosh Hashanah yet what we are really expecting in the Trumpet of God.

1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

See that? It’s the trump of God. Not the trump of man. Yes there are typological connections we see in the Trumpet blasts associated with Rosh Hashanah. Especially the 100th.

1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
