Is This A Set Up? | Hacktivists Target Banking Systems SWIFT

We've recently heard of the combined warning from 3 hacktivists claiming that they were going to take down the Western monetary system (SWIFT).
It is worth noting that if SWIFT goes down, it could mean a global economic blackout, primarily for developed countries. These hackers claim that
without the money, there will be no weapons for the war in Ukraine.
"repel the maniacs according to the formula" no money – no weapons –
no Kiev regime"".
So they figure to hit the economic supply base hard.
The question is, are these hacktivists
acting as agents of the new system?
