ninHOME Node - MAX7219 Display

In this video i show you how ninHOME Node Firmware works with a MAX7219 Dot Matrix Display.
In the Video i use the MQTT Dash App from Android Playstore and added the topics the display listens on as widgets.
So you can drive the display from any device which can use mqtt, even in scripts, like you see in the video my crontab script which is triggered every second will write the actual time to the display thats why the test text only appeared so short.

ninHOME Node is a Firmware for ESP8266 SoC which
can drive some useful things for an IoT SmartHome Device.
For example you can attach a relay or an rf transmitter for rc plugs, or like this an MAX7219 dot matrix display.

I use this in my SmartHome in combination with mosquitto and ioBroker to control all of my IoT Devices, especially the ninHOME Node ones.
