Theses short hair beach waves are so “in” right now and for good reason. Here is a written step by step process of how to successfully pull off short hair beach waves every time.

1. Start with freshly washed and airdried hair. I use a 1” Babyliss Pro curling iron for the curls in this hairstyle.
2. Take the first two inches of your hair on one side of your head and curl away from your face. Leave the first two inches out of the curl. Let the curl cool without disturbing it.
3. Curl the second set of hair away from your face
4. Curl the third set of hair toward your face. This alternating curl will add texture and volume
5. Work your way to the back of your head using this method. Alternate the direction of your curls so that you get a lot of texture and volume.
6. Repeat the same hair curling steps on the other side of your head.
7. Alternate the size of curls along the sides of your head to keep things different
8. Once your curls have curled, run your fingers through them. I like my waves to be loose and natural. Running your fingers through your curls helps with this immensely
9. Use the Fatboy texture spray. Apply all over your hair and scrunch your hair a little. The texture spray helps your hair look so much bouncier and also helps it hold the curl a lot longer.
10. If desired, apply a small amount of hairspray to your hair so it will hold for longer.
