Therapy Dog Soothes Anxious Dental Patients

Nearly one in three Americans have dental anxiety and fear, but a dentist in New York City has an employee who can help with that: Luna, a spaniel mix trained therapy dog. Dr. Carlos Huerta says that Luna helps ease fears in his patients who are nervous in the chair. Inside Edition was there as Jocelyn Ryan went to Dr. Huerta for a cleaning and root canal. Luna was with her through the whole procedure, which Jocelyn says made it a lot easier!
