The Aztec is a 9-pattern tube microphone based on the ElaM 251. Read more here: https://roswellproaudio.com/products/aztec

The Colares is a FET mic, also based on the ElaM 251, although the Colares was designed to create the harmonic saturation of a tube circuit within a solid-state design. Engaging the mic's pad reduces harmonic saturation. For the demo clip, makeup gain was applied via the console. The difference between normal mode and reduced-saturation mode is somewhat subtle on quiet inputs such as nylon string acoustic guitar; for louder sources, the difference would be more pronounced. The Delphos II is a transformerless condenser mic with three polar patterns (Cardioid, Figure 8, Omnidirectional). It has neutral tonality, accurate transient response, low distortion. Read more here:
