Sonic Mania: Part 7: Hydrocity Zone (Super Tails)

Usually, when I enter Hydrocity Act 1 as Tails, I use his flight to reach a ledge to the right that Sonic wouldn't be able to reach on his own. Such an alternate path does not exist in this version of the zone.

I encountered more glitches shown in this video, both in AND outside of the game. First off, for outside, the recording skips a bit at 01:04. Not too polarizing, but I'll deal with it.

A more powerful glitch occurs IN the game itself at 1:25. That piranha enemy was supposed to latch onto Tails, but since he was Super Tails at the moment, it just got destroyed, instead.

However, for some reason, when this happens while a Super is hanging onto a switch, they sink a bit and float in place as if they were still hanging onto the switch, but now I can't move AT ALL! I can't even jump to break him free!

So I had to start the level over in this video. Starting Hydrocity over from the pause screen or from the data select screen won't have your character falling into the water at the start. They'll just start already in the water to begin with. This applies to every zone with a cutscene intro, such as anytime the Phantom Ruby is used to warp the heroes somewhere else.

Besides all of that mess, for the most part, the rest of the zone in this video was a breeze.
