Las Vegans Know How to Think Big - We Need That to Create an Economy That Benefits Working Nevadans

One of the things I love the most about my hometown is that we Las Vegans are willing to think big. That’s how we transformed Las Vegas from a tiny railroad town of barely 1,000 people into the entertainment capital of the world.

Now it’s time to bring that willingness to change and to think big to the Nevada Legislature so that we can create an economy in our State that benefits working people instead of only benefiting the powerful few.

This is why I am running to make powerful corporate interests in Nevada pay a fair tax rate so we can increase revenue that can then be used to improve the lives of working Nevadans. If we make powerful corporate interests pay a fair tax rate, we can pass universal childcare that will save Nevada families an average of $1,000 per month. We can invest in infrastructure projects that not only create good paying jobs but that will also provide people with a quality public transportation system. We can invest in clean energy that will bring down people’s power bills. We can invest in tuition-free higher education and skills training so people can increase their earning capacity.

All of these things are possible, and as the only candidate in this race calling for these big changes that will create an economy that benefits working Nevadans, I hope I can count on your support!
