The Duty to Ensure Every Tax Dollar is Spent Efficiently and Effectively for the Public Good

Our government has a duty to spend every penny of our tax dollars in the most optimal, effective, and efficient way possible to deliver benefits to the public.

I’ve promised to fight in the Nevada Legislature to make powerful unaccountable corporate interests pay their fair share toward the needs of our State. The chief culprit on that front is the Nevada mining industry, and we could bring in $1 billion in additional annual revenue for Nevada if the mining industry paid its fair share.

But once we do make the mining industry and other powerful corporate interests pay their fair share, we also must ensure that not a penny of that additional revenue is wasted. Mayor Mamdani is an excellent example of this principle of efficient government spending that delivers real positive results for the public, and we need to see more of that here in Nevada.

Our government belongs to us, and we can make it work for us in an effective and efficient manner.

As the only candidate in the race for Nevada Assembly District 20 that refuses to take a penny of campaign donations from any corporation or corporate-PAC, I hope I can count on your support in the Democratic Party primary election on June 9, 2026!
