In this video, Rob Orgel takes a hard, no-nonsense look at the Centurion Arms MK11 to answer one question. Is this rifle actually good, and can it realistically stand in for the legendary **Knight's Armament SR-25 SD?
The SR-25 is iconic, battle-proven, nearly impossible to buy, and priced around $12,000 when available. For most civilians, it is unobtainable. The Centurion MK11 promises something different. A military-grade rifle built with involvement from some of the same engineering talent, but available to the civilian market at a fraction of the cost.

We run the MK11 through extensive suppressed testing using Federal Gold Medal Match 175 grain ammunition to assess accuracy, recoil impulse, gas behavior, reliability, and shootability. Multiple .30 caliber suppressors are used, including the CAT JL, Centurion 7.62 Maximus L, Stealth Additive Works Tisha 30 caliber, HUXWRX Flow Range 360, BNT RBS 7.62, G3 Mark 7 7.62, and others, to understand how the rifle behaves across different back-pressure profiles.
The testing reveals the MK11’s biggest weakness. When suppressed, the rifle is over-gassed. Aggressively so. Rather than ignoring this flaw, we address it directly by tuning the rifle with suppressor-optimized gas tubes from Black River Tactical. We show how proper gas management transforms the rifle and whether that correction allows the MK11 to truly perform at the level its design intent suggests.
Optics for this evaluation consist of a Kahles 3-28x scope mounted with MK Machining hardware to ensure consistent observation and repeatable shooting.
