The Sig HEXIUM silencer, the new king of all hype?

Testing the brand-new SIG SAUER HEXIUM against the reigning sub-6" champ and my personal best-sounding can, the CAT JL (Johnny Law). Full side-by-side sound comparison & real-world shooting on: two 16" AR-15 rifles, two bolt-action .223 rifles, and a MK18 short-barreled rifle — all fired with PMC X-TAC ammunition to keep the testing consistent and repeatable.
What I test and why:
Sound signature & decibel comparisons — raw audio and dB meter readings on each host.

Backpressure & gas system behavior on gas guns (ARs / MK18) — does the HEXIUM change feel or runability?
Sig Sauer

Real-world impressions: weight, fitment, mounting, and overall sound quality (what I mean by “best-sounding”).
Ammo used: PMC X-TAC (the same lot for every test) so the only variables are host and suppressor.
