The Other Esposito - The Angelo Esposito Story

When the name Esposito is brought up amongst hockey fans, it's likely that either Hall-of-Fame Forward Phil or Hall-of-Fame goaltender Tony are the players being mentioned. However, there was a third Esposito who was also destined to have a long and successful career in the NHL thanks to his dominance of the Major-Junior circuit and 20th overall selection at the draft, but he would never suit up in a single NHL game, struggle to become a productive player at the minor-league level and call it a day on his career soon after his 28th birthday!

So why didn't he become the player everyone expected him to be? Well thanks to some injury problems and his fair share of rotten luck, the Canadian forward was unable to live up to his once lofty expectations...
