Since his departure from the NHL in 2018, Nail Yakupov spent the following 2 seasons of his career back home in the KHL with SKA St. Petersburg. However, thanks to his mediocre play and the business-side of the game taking precedence, the former first overall pick has found himself suiting up for more teams during the 20/21 season alone than some players join during their entire pro careers!
