Spend Time With Little Elephant, Timisa, Matriarch Tokwe & Wandering Lundi!

In this new video, we spend some quality time with a few of the elephants in the herd, namely Timisa, Tokwe, Pisa and Lundi. See if you can pick up ways to identify them, while getting familiar with their unique characteristics. Enjoy close ups of Timisa's eyes, and Tokwe's trunk, and watch the Matriarch as she forages with baby elephant, Khanyisa, keeping the youngest in the herd company. The females all have vital roles in the herd, with the younger cows learning from their elders. Tokwe and Lundi are both key in protecting the smaller elephants, and watching over the entire herd. The two females have been best friends since they arrived in our reserve, after being rescued from Zimbabwe in 2002.
