Protective Huddles, Wild Walks, Magnificent Sunsets & Milk Bottle Munchies! This is Elephantopia.

Tokwe picks up on something in the bush as she stands on lookout with Zindoga and daughter, Pisa close by. Suddenly Timisa comes running (or speed-walking) and huddles up to the matriarch. Zindoga and Pisa join in and the group stand close together in a protective circle. Something must have spooked Timisa or perhaps she missed her foster mum, but once the elephants determine that everything is well in the wild, they move on and continue grazing.

The herd head off, walking through the bush together with Limpopo, Bubi and Setombe all passing Adine closely. Khanyisa enjoys a few snacks of greenery out in the bush.

Later we join the herd at sunset as the giraffe and impala move across the field, and the elephants pass the dam. It’s the most beautiful sunset and one that’s even more special with the herd in the foreground. Follow the herd home to the homestead where Khanyisa grabs her milk bottles from Herman before heading into the paddocks with her family.
