Indian Air Force Sukhoi Su-30MKI Exercise Pitch Black 2018

Exercise Pitch Black 2018 witnessed many first’s, and one of those was the participation by the Indian Air Force, who brought along four Sukhoi Su-30MKI Flankers, from No.102 Squadron and supporting them was an No.81 Squadron C-17A Globemaster III and No.87 Squadron Lockheed Martin C-130J-30 Hercules.
ASO’s videographer was privileged to have obtained access during one of the morning launches during the Exercise at RAAF Base Darwin as the Su-30MKI’s taxied out for departure and their return.
