How to take a cutting from a fig tree, with Mo on his North London allotment
King of allotments, Mo, keeps his plot immaculately tidy and is very proud of all his produce. He grows fruit, vegetables and flowers. This week (last week of July 2020) I have seen him harvest #cucumbers, #cauliflower, figs and #potatoes (I missed the #apricots and the #cherries!) The other allotment holders come to him for advice and it makes him very happy to help them. In this video he shows us how to take a cutting from a fig tree - apparently you can do the same thing with lemon trees. I am so enjoying these allotment visits and finding out about these other worlds that thrive in our corner of North London.
