Arizona reinstates 160-year-old abortion ban

A long-dormant abortion law that was revived in Arizona has engulfed lawmakers inside the state's legislature this week. The Republican majority blocked two attempts at discussions about repealing the 160-year old, pre-state law that only accepts termination to save a mother's life. The move sent Democrats into a frenzy - and sparked much reaction and debate across the United States. Also chiming in was U.S. president Joe Biden and his likely opponent in the next election, Donald Trump. However, the unpredictable Trump agreed with Biden on the matter, believing Arizona did not make the right move.
