Hiking Thai rainforests & visiting temples

Today we visited Wat Tham Pha Plong a temple just outside of Ban Tham which is only visited by those willing to climb the 510 steps it takes to get to the top!

Just imagine: walking through the jungle, hearing the birds, butterflies everywhere, slight dampness in the hot air….it was such a wonderful hike! It had been raining solid for the last couple of days, so when it stopped we were out the door and up we went!

At the top all you can see is jungle, it really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! We plan to travel the world for a year, see as much as possible, meet as many people as we can, and most importantly MAKE OUR MONEY LAST!
