Auction Date set for Mohamed Hadid's 70 Acres in Beverly Hills

Mohamed Hadid has another project making headlines, this one the Franklin Canyon land that he has been trying to develop for a decade now. After a long legal battle with creditors and neighbors, Hadid filed for bankruptcy protection and now this prestigious piece of Beverly Hills real estate is headed for auction.

If you've been following the Bel Air real estate market and the Beverly Hills real estate market, you know that Mohamed Hadid has been a big name for a while. He has developed several $50 million+ mansions, as well as many luxury hotels and resorts. Mohamed Hadid has most recently been in headlines due to his troubled project at 901 Strada Vecchia Rd. That home in Bel Air California was recently ordered to be torn down, and purchased at auction by another real estate developer. The fate of the Franklin Canyon land is still unknown at this point, but the auction will be happening later this week.
