President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady arrive for WWII anniversary events in Beijing

A military parade is underway in Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese occupation and World War II.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have arrived at Tiananmen Square to watch the parade, where they were welcomed by Chinese President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan.
