Aldbourne's 100th Carnival, 2015 - the procession through the village

The highlight of Aldbourne's 100th Carnival was the procession through the village on Saturday 5th September, 2015. Hundreds of villagers entered into the spirit of Carnival by dressing up with witty, wacky and sometimes beautiful costumes and then taking to the streets on floats. This was longest procession in many years, taking nearly two hours to pass through the village, past the Post Office, up Marlborough Road and into the Butts, along Farm Lane and then back into the centre of the village and The Green.
