Extreme Macro [Manual #Focus Stacking #Gear, #Settings & Editing Tips & Tricks]- Episode 1

In this first episode of my Extreme Macro series I walk you through my simple & straightforward setup & also give you a few trips & tricks that can help you achieve high magnification images where focus stacking is necessary. Following my advice I can guarantee you that with some perseverance & patience the results using a manual focusing rail up to 5x magnification will be comparable to that of achieved with much more expensive motorised rails such as the Cognysis Stackshot & Wemacro. I also briefly walk you through my editing process in ZereneStacker, Lightroom & Photoshop with an ultra macro shot of our first subject: a Bibio imitator.
