Beyond the Dream: Women in Civil Rights

Kendra Boyd, an assistant professor of history at Rutgers University–Camden, led a roundtable discussion on the contributions of women in the civil rights movement. The event was part of Beyond the Dream, a virtual event series hosted by Rutgers–Camden, and took place Jan. 18, 2022. In celebration of the life, legacy, and leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the series featured speakers who offered an in-depth look at the civil rights movement from diverse perspectives.
