Laxey Valley.wmv

A morning in Laxey Valley, on Saturday 4 September 2010. We start with The Great Laxey Mine Railway, with "Bee" hauling coach number 2 and disappearing through a tunnel under the main road. We then move on to have a look at the nearby "Lady Evelyn", a recently renovated large water wheel. Afterwards, we have a glance up the valley to "Lady Isabella", the "great" Laxey Wheel. A Snaefell Mountain railway train is heard in the distance on one of the clips, but not seen. There is a brief glimpse of a Manx Electric Railway tram heading down into Laxey from the Ramsey direction.
