Children's Immortality Project | Internet Mysteries

In 2009, 4chan users found hundreds of strange websites created by a man named Robert Ray Hedges. They focused on what was called the "Children's Immortality Project", which centred around Robert's hypothesis that if children never learnt about death, they would never die. People reported receiving unsettling emails after clicking around the websites for a few minutes, despite never entering their email address; it was rumoured that these emails, as well as the websites, contained hidden codes and possibly even encrypted content.
