What a fantastic Video from our day engaging service children In Bridgend at the Bridgend Military Festival!

Today saw our team at FORCES FITNESS engage service children from primary schools in the Bridgend County.

We were very thankful to have the Leader of Bridgend Council Councillor Huw David open the event and the Bridgend Mayor Councillor William Kendall, Bridgend Youth Mayor alongside the Goat Major and Shenkin attend the opening.

The local authority Bridgend County Borough Council collaborated with Forces Fitness, The Army in Wales, YourNorth and SSCE Cymru to create the first ‘Bridgend Forces Festival’ event for Service children in Bridgend. The day offered fun and engaging activities that allowed Service children from across Bridgend county the opportunity to meet with other Service children in the area.

We had some fantastic feedback:

✅ 100% of attendees had fun
✅ 100% of attendees said the day improved their confidence
✅ 100% of attendees said they wanted to do similar activities with us again.

The day was great fun and consisted of engaging activities including-

⭐ Mini obstacle courses
⭐ Gladiator pugil challenges
⭐ STEM Activies
⭐ Military Command Tasks
⭐ Tug of war
⭐ Water challenges
⭐ Giant inflatable course
⭐ Mindfulness sessions

Massive thank you to all the schools / parents / family members that made sure the children could attend the day.
