Forces Fitness Service Children's Health Well-being and activity retreat

Well that's a wrap!!!

What an amazing three days with these brilliant service children on our Health and Well-being Activity Weekend put together by SSCE Cymru and FORCES FITNESS

Huge thanks to everyone that's been involved in organising, planning and supporting this, a huge team effort from so many individuals, organisations and local authorities working to make this the huge success it was!

Very thankful to Cllr Lisa Dymock for Portskewett Monmouthshire County Councils Armed Forces Champion and Captain Ian Moore who presented the Awards and trophies to the attendees!

Absolutely amazing feedback from the weekend with so many positive comments, lovely to see that you would all want to return and would recommend this to other children and friends!

Great to see the first retreat for service children in Wales take place after 3 years of planning and rebooks due to the Covid pandemic. The activity weekend had children from multiple Local Authorities attend including Monmouthshire, Newport, Powys, Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly. We are really looking forward to the next retreat in June and making this an important date in the calendar going forward for our Service children!
