How have Independence Movements in Europe Affected the EU's Unity?

After Britain voted to leave the European Union, speculation began over whether or not Scotland would try to leave the UK once again. Scotland, however, is far from the only region in Europe where a large section of the population wants to split from the country they are a part of. Regions such as Catalonia, Flanders, and Wallonia have long been vying for independence. In this video I ask the question - how have these separatist movements affected the seemingly frail European Union, and what could they tell us about its future?
